Farming Accountants

Visit us at Cereals 2016!

Cereals is the industry’s leading technical event, hosted annually on a working arable farm.

In 2016 the Cereals event is being held on 15 and 16 June at Chrishall Grange, Nr Duxford in Cambridgeshire.

Here you can expect to see around 25,000 fellow farmers, agronomists and industry professionals visiting. There will be over 500 exhibitors spread out over the 64ha event, hosting stands and stalls, crop plots, and working demonstrations.

We are sponsoring the barbecue lunch and drinks event on Wednesday 15 June between noon and 3pm in the CLA marquee (stand 606 in the Business Area).

Want to come along? Register here.

The event is only a few miles from our Royston office so you’ll be seeing a few of us there!

There will be over 10ha of working demonstrations to compare the power, productivity and performance of various pieces of machinery. There will also be extensive testing and comparison of 50 of the latest sprayers on the market, in order to assist you in making those important asset-purchasing decisions.

The 5.56ha of crop plots will be exhibiting the latest varieties of crops such as Winter and Spring wheats, oats, potatoes, cover crops and alternative crops, shown off by 29 companies.

Additionally, why not visit the business area, where you can meet fellow professionals and experts in the field to exchange advice, ideas and experiences. This will also give you the chance to gain new contacts, an important, but often underestimated, part of expanding and growing your business.

Having recently joined the rural team, I will be visiting the Cereals event for the first time this year. I’m looking forward to gaining a deeper insight into the farming world, experiencing some of the machinery demonstrations and learning more about different types of crops.

I will be writing a follow-up piece after the event, and I hope to enjoy it as much as those who visit every year!
